Hail Damage AC Check

Hail hit your neighborhood. Did it hit your AC?

Family-owned | ROC 352105 | BBB Accredited A+ | 12-month workmanship warranty on repairs

Storms on Oct 20 and 21 dropped hail over an inch across Mesa, Chandler, Tempe, Peoria, Glendale, and Surprise. A hail-damaged AC keeps running, just worse, until summer. We check it, clean it, photograph it, and put it in writing.

Hail Damage AC Check: $49 per home

A licensed technician inspects every outdoor and rooftop unit, photographs any damage before anything is touched, cleans the outdoor coil (a $299 service on its own), checks the electrical, runs the system, and emails you a written report with the photos the same day. If we repair anything, the $49 comes off the bill. Comfort Care members: included in your plan. Book by Nov 6, 2026. Code HAIL49.

What hail does

Outdoor AC condenser with aluminum coil fins

Coil fins

Hail flattens the thin aluminum fins that let heat leave the coil. Blocked fins mean longer run times, higher bills, and a compressor working in its own heat.

HVAC technician inspecting an outdoor AC unit

Fan blade

A bent blade wobbles, rattles, and loads the motor on every start.

Outdoor AC condenser cabinet and refrigerant connections

Refrigerant lines

Rare, but a cracked line leaks slowly and shows up as weak cooling weeks later.

Technician testing an AC system

Electrical

The same storm's lightning and surges take out capacitors, contactors, and boards.

What's included

Six steps. Everything in writing.

1

Power off at the disconnect and a walk-around with you.

2

Photos of every unit before anything is cleaned or straightened.

3

Coil, fins, fan, cabinet, and line inspection; debris removed; outdoor coil cleaned, after the photos.

4

Electrical check: capacitor, contactor, disconnect, wiring, board.

5

Run test with pressures and temperature split on paper.

6

Same-day written report with photos, emailed to you.

Insurance

Insurance in plain terms

Homeowners policies typically cover hail, wind, and lightning damage to central AC under dwelling coverage, minus your deductible; wear, age, and lack of maintenance are not covered. Our report gives you and your adjuster dated photos and readings from a licensed contractor. You decide whether to file. We document and advise; we do not file claims, negotiate with your insurer, or estimate what they will pay. If you file, we schedule covered repairs after your insurer's decision, unless a repair is needed right away to prevent further damage.
